Spachbrücken, Kr. Darmstadt-Dieburg, Hessen

In 1528, Spachbrücken became part of the fief belonging to the Lords of Löwenstein-Wertheim. It remained affiliated with this family until 1805.

Today, Spachbrücken is administratively part of the municipality of Reinheim.

Church:

There has been a church on the present site in Spachbrücken since before 1513 when the parish was Roman Catholic. In 1526, this area became Lutheran during the Reformation. Today, the parish is part of the Evangelischen Kirche in Hessen und Nassau.

Södel, Kr. Friedberg, Hessen

The earliest documented reference to Södel is dated 802.

By the second half of the 12th century, the family of Hagen-Münzenberg had established control over this area of northern Wetterau.

In 1496, a major fire destroyed much of Södel.

Today, Södel is administratively part of the municipality of Wölfersheim.

The first church was probably built in Södel around the year 800. It was the "mother church" of several parishes that developed in the area.
