Schneider (Unknown-3)*

David Schneider, a farmer, his wife Dorothea, and son Christian (age 8) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the hooker Die Jungfer Dietrika under the command of Skipper Christian Korsholm.

David Schneider, his wife Dorothea, and son Johann (age 7) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that father David Schneider died en route.

It is not known in which colony the widow Dorothea Schneider and her son settled.

Pietsch (Did Not Arrive)*

Johann Heinrich Pietsch, a miller, and his wife Anna Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the hooker Die Jungfer Dietrika under the command of Skipper Christian Korsholm.

Joh. Heinrich Pietzsch [sic] and his wife Anna Maria are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that both of them died en route.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Heinrich Pietsch came from the German region of Isenburg.

Smallan*

Cornelius Smallan, a merchant, his wife Anna, and children (Samuel, age 7; Anna, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Cornelius Smallan, his wife Anna Pastre, and children (Samuel, age 7; Anna, age 2) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that daughter Anna died en route.

It is not in which colony they settled.

Bandel (Basel)*

Johann Ludwig Bandel, his wife Dorothea, and daughter Christina (age 8) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 September 1766 on a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Hermann Anderson.

Joh. Ludw. Bandell, his wife Dorothea, and daughter Christina (age 8) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that father Johann Ludwig died en route.

Übrig*

Anna Elisabeth Übrig, daughter of Johann Heinrich & Anna Katharina Übrig, was born 6 July 1737 in Hopfgarten.

The marriage of Joh. Jacob Rüppel [sic] from Schwartz in the district of Alsfeld and Anna Eliesabetha [sic] Ubrig [sic] is recorded in the parish register of Büdingen on 12 April 1766.

Johann Jacob Ruppel, son of Nikolaus Ruppel, was born 27 June 1733 in Schwarz bei Alsfeld.
