Schmidt (Unknown-10)*

Christoph Schmidt, a farmer, and his wife Barbara arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

Christopher Schmidt, his [new] wife Elisabeth, and [step-]son Johann Friedrich [surname not recorded] (age 5½) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christoph Schmidt came from the German region of Mecklenburg.

Lindehayn*

Gottlieb Lindehayn, a single weaver, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

Gottlieb Lindehayn is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony Gottlieb Lindehayn settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Gottlieb Lindehayn came from the German region of Dessau.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Lindehayn family among the Volga German colonies.

Schlider*

Peter Schlider, a widowed farmer, and his children (Friedricka, age 21; Victoria, age 20; Hieronymos, age 16) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

Widower Peter Schlider and his son Hyeronimus [sic] (age 16) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that father Peter died en route. Also listed with them is Victoria Tilo identified as a possible step-daughter of Peter Schlider.

Roth (Boisroux)

Andreas Roth, a carpenter, and his wife Dorothea arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax. Arriving with them is Widow Anna Rod who may be the mother of Andreas Roth.

Bechthold (Unknown)*

Konrad Bechthold, a stocking maker, and his wife Katharina from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the hooker Die Jungfer Dietrika under the command of skipper Christian Korsholm.

Konrad Pechhalbe [sic] and his wife Catarina are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Konrad died en route.

It is not known in which colony the Widow Bechthold settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Bechthold came from the German region of Darmstadt.

Eurich (Unknown)*

Widow Anna Katharina Eurich and her son Johann Joseph (age 4) arrived together from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the hooker Die Jungfer Dietrika under the command of Skipper Christian Korsholm.

Widow Anna Cath. Erich [sic] and son Joseph (age 5) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that son Joseph died en route.

It is not known in which colony the Widow Eurich settled.

Kirchner (Unknown)*

Sebastian Kirchner, a farmer, his wife Magdalena, and children (Johann Kaspar, age 14; Katharina, age 11) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the hooker Die Jungfer Dietrika under the command of Skipper Christian Korsholm.

Sebastian Kirch [sic], his wife Magdalena, and children (Casper, age 14; Anna Catrina, age 11; Zacharias, born en route) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony this Kirchner family settled.

Schmidt (Did Not Arrive-2)*

Kilian Schmidt, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the hooker Die Jungfer Dietrika under the command of Skipper Christian Korsholm.

Kilian Schmidt is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that he died en route.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Kilian Schmidt came from the German region of Fulda.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Schmidt family among the Volga German colonies.

Dresser (Pfeifer-2)*

Michael Dresser, a farmer, and his wife Katharina are recorded on the 1767 census of Pfeifer in Household No. 88.

The 1767 census records that Michael Dresser came from the German village of Arnstein.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Dresser family among the Volga German colonies.

Lapp (Unknown)*

Paul Lapp, a single carpenter, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the hooker Die Jungfer Dietrika under the command of Skipper Christian Korsholm.

Paul Zep [sic] is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony Paul Lapp settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Paul Lapp came from German region of Fulda.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Lapp family among the Volga German colonies.
