Moorsee, Stadt Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein

Moorsee is first mentioned in a document dated 1222. As the name suggests, the area was very marshy at that time.

In 1970, Moorsee was incorporated into the urban area of the port city of Kiel in the German State of Schleswig-Holstein.
