Albrecht (Orlovskaya-1)
[Immanuel] Friedrich Albrecht, his wife Leopoldina, and children (Johanna, age 3; Gottfried, age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Friedr. Albrecht, his wife Soph. Leopoldina, son Gottfried (age 1¾) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Orlovskaya on 3 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 43.
In 1779, Immanuel Friedrich Albrecht and his wife moved from Orlovskaya to Katharinenstadt.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Immanuel Friedrich Albrecht was an innkeeper while the 1767 census records that he was a merchant (Kaufmann).
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census records that Immanuel Friedrich Albrecht came from the German region of Dessau.
