Johann Lorenz Andersen, his wife Anna Augusta Louisa, and son Jakob Herrmann (age 11) are recorded on the 1767 census of Fischer in Household No. 25. They had settled there on 7 July 1766.

Lorenz Anders [sic] and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Fischer in Household No. Fs35.

The 1767 census records that Johann Lorenz Andersen came from the German town of Kiel in the Holstein region.
