Kaspar Arendt, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and daughters (Anna, age 12; Elisabeth 6; Katharina, age ¾) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 11 June 1766 aboard the ship named Der Junge Heinrich under the command of Skipper Heinrich Niemann.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Stahl am Tarlyk on 13 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17.
The 1767 census records that Kaspar Arendt came from the German village of Lütersburg in Holstein.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Arendt family among the Volga German colonies.
