Philipp Aulmann, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), his wife Anna Elisabeth, and daughter Maria Dorothea (age 6) are recorded on the 1767 census of Laub in Household No. 35. They had settled there on 19 August 1767.
Widower Philipp Aulmann and his daughters are recorded on the 1798 census of Laub in Household No. 31.
The 1767 census records that Philipp Aulmann came from the German village of Waltz [?] in the Nassau-Idstein region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
