Johann Becker, a farmer, and his wife Kunigunda arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.
Johann Pirner [sic] and his wife Kunigunda are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Johann Becker, a farmer, an dhis wife Kunigunda are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits appended to the 1767 census.
It is not known in which colony they settled.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Becker came from the German region of Bamberg. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Gunzendorf in the Bamberg region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Becker family among the Volga German colonies.
