Abram Barthuly and his wife Salomea arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 20 May 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Catharina Eleonora under the command of Skipper Peter Röder.
Abraham Bartole [Barthuly] and his wife Salome Friederika settled in the Volga German colony of Moor on 18 June 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 35.
As of 1798, widow Salome Barthuly from Moor is living in Laub.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Abram Barthuly was a stocking maker. The 1767 census records that he was a craftsman (Handwerker).
There are no known surviving male lines of this Barthuly family among the Volga German colonies.
