Anna Barbara Bach [sic], a single woman, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a pink named Новая Двинка (New Dvinka [a river in Russia]) under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin.
Widow Anna Barbara Bauch and her unnamed child are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that both she and the child died in route.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Anna Barbara Bach [sic] came from the German region of Fulda.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Bauch family among the Volga German colonies.
