Baude
Johann Gottlieb Baude, a single blacksmith (Schmied), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the Danish galliot Nord Stern under the command of Skipper Detlev Belling.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Lauwe on 19 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 9 along with his new wife Katharina.
Gottlieb Baude and his family are recorded on the 1798 censu sof Lauwe in Household No. Lw13.
Johann Friedrich Baude, son of Gottlieb Baude, and his son are recorded on the 1811 census of Lauwe in Household No. 43.
The 1767 census records that Gottlieb Baude came from the German village of Leuben in the region of Sachsen (Saxony).
