Heinrich Bauer married Anna Christina Bopp, daughter of Casar Bopp & Anna Elisabeth Loth. Anna Christina Bopp had been born 20 October 1748 in Vonhausen. [See Popp Family in Messer.]

This Bauer family also came from Vonhausen. The oldest son of Heinrich Bauer & Anna Christina Popp was Michael who had been born in Vonhausen.

Heinrich Bauer, his wife Christina, and children (Michael, Andreas, and Barbara) are recorded on the 1775 census of Kutter.

Christina Bauer née Popp, widow Heinrich Bauer, and her children are recorded on the 1798 census of Kutter in Household No. Kt09.

A note on the 1798 census records that Heinrich Bauer's son Heinrich (junior) and his family are working and living in Sarepta.

In 1792, Johann Michael Bauer moved from Kutter to Messer. Michael Bauer from Kutter and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Messer in Household No. Ms39.

Christina Bauer née Popp died in Kutter on 18 April 1808.
