There are two Bauer families recorded on the 1798 census of Lauwe. They are presumed to be brothers, but further research is needed to confirm this relationship.
(1) Georg Bauer and his wife Louisa are recorded on the 1798 census of Lauwe in Household No. Lw10.
(2) Wilhelm Bauer and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Lauwe in Household No. Lw14.
