Peter Beier (age 16), his brother Martin (age 9), and his sister Elisabeth (age 8) settled in the Volga German colony of Herzog on 14 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 20 along with their stepfather, Jakob Dinkel, and a note stating that they relocated to the colony of Rohleder in 1768.

The 1798 Census of Herzog records Peter Beier in Household No. Hr01 and Martin Beier in Household No. Hr16.

The 1767 census does not record from where they came.
