Discussion & Documentation:

Johann Peter Buseck was born 3 September 1716 in Kröffelbach and died on 8 July 1764 in Biskirchen. He married on 28 December 1736 in Biskirchen to Catharina Margaretha Klepper, daughter of Johann Jost Klepper and Anna Margarita Weber. Catharina was born on 5 January 1716.

The birth of their son Johann Georg Buseck is recorded in Biskirchen on 1 October 1761.

Widow Catharina Buseck [under her maiden name of Klapper] and her children (Anna Christina, age 18; Johann Jost, age 14; Maria Margaretha, age 12; Sophia, age 10; Johann Georg, age 6) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kukkus in Household No. 49. They had settled there on 26 June 1767.

In 1792, Anna Maria Buseck, widow of Johann Georg Buseck, and her children moved from Kukkus to Schilling. They are recorded there on the 1798 census in Household No. Sg006, but there are no known surviving male lines of Johann Georg Buseck.

Johann [Jost] Buseck and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kukkus in Household No. Kk38.

The death of Johann Jost Buseck in 1816 is recorded on the 1834 census of Kukkus in Household No. 54.

The 1767 census records that Katharina (Klapper) Buseck came from the German village of Biskirchen in the region of Braunfels.
