Blätner*
Christoph Andreas Pletner and Margaretha Magdalena Stelting were married 15 April 1766 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.
Christian [sic] Blätner, a baker (Bäcker), and his wife Margaretha arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 3 June 1766 aboard the galliot Adler under the command of Skipper Paul Adolph Drath.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Stahl am Tarlyk on 13 September 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 55.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christian [sic] Blätner came from the German region of Holstein. The 1767 census records that Christoph [sic] Blätner came from the German village of Kiel.
There do not appear to be any surviving male descendants of this Blätner among the Volga German colonies.
