Discussion & Documentation:

Christian Bohn, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766.

Christian Bohn is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from Oranienbaum to Saratov in 1767.

Widower Christian Bohn, a farmer, is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 50. He had arrived there on 3 August 1767.

It is not known in which Volga German colony Christian Bohn eventually settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christian Bohn came from the German region of Holstein. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Edlendorf.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Bohn family among the Volga German colonies.
