Peter Parsel [sic], a farmer, his wife Angelina, and sons (Thomas, age 9; Klaus, age 7; Peter, age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 May 1766 aboard a galliot named Adler (Eagle) under the command of the Skipper Paul Adolph Drath.
Peter Pasfehl [sic], his wife Anna Cathrina, and sons (Thomas Henrich, age 12; Clauss Petersen, age 10; Peter Henrich, age ¾) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Peter Bossel, a butcher (Fleischer), his wife Angelina, and sons (Thomas Heinrich, age 13; Klaus Peter, age 12; Peter Heinrich, age 2) are recorded on the 1767 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. 31. They had arrived in Stahl am Tarlyk on 5 September 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Peter Bossel came from the German region of Mecklenburg. The 1767 census records that he came from the German district of Kolbow [?] in the Mecklenburg region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
