Orphan Elisabeth Bossert (age 10) is recorded on the list of Beauregard recruits appended to the 1767 census in Household No. 106 along with the Franz Anfang family. A note on the 1767 census records that the Anfang family relocated to the colony fo Wittmann in 1768 and Elisabeth Bossert is presumed to have settled there with them.
The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Bossert and Anfang families.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
