Wife Anna Margaretha remarried to Ludwig Rübling and is recorded with him on the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 8 along with son Johann [Peter] (age 8). They had settled in Nieder-Monjou on 7 June 1767.

Widow Margaretha Rübling, her son by Nikolaus Christ ([Johann] Peter Christ, age 38), and the illegitimate son of [Johann] Peter Christ (Johann Martin Christ, age 7) are recorded on the 1798 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. Nm37.

The death of Johann Peter Christ in 1802 is recorded on the 1811 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 37.

Johann Martin Christ is recorded on the 1811 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 37 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Katharinenstadt [year not recorded].

Johann Martin Christ is recorded on the 1834 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 197 along with a note that he had been exiled from the colony in 1829.

The death of Johann Karl Christ, son of Johann Martin Christ, in 1833 is recorded on the 1834 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 197.
