The baptism of Adam Christopher Danndörfer, son of Franz & Anna Danndörfer from Oberscheinfeld, is recorded in the parish register of St. Kilian Catholic Church in Pretzfeld on 3 April 1730.
Christoph Standörfer [sic], a cobbler, his wife Maria Ursula, and children (Franziscus, age 11; Maria, age 7½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Elisabeth Catharina under the command of Skipper Heinrich Ludwig Gottknecht.
Christoph Tanndörfer [sic], a cobbler (Schuhmacher), his wife Ursula, and children (Franz Paulus, age 13; Anna Maria, age 9) are recorded on the 1767 census of Seelmann in Household No. 36. They had settled there on 16 August 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christoph Standörfer [sic] came from the German region of Bamberg. The 1767 census records that Christoph Tanndörfer [sic] came from the German village of Pretzfeld in the Bamberg region.
