Discussion & Documentation:

Pehr de Loz was born in approximately 1792. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Nieder-Monjou.

He is recorded on the 1834 Nieder-Monjou Census in Household No. 119 along with a note that he left in 1818.

There do not appear to be any surviving male descendants of this family among the Volga German colonies.
