Johann Ludwig Döbele, son of Johann Ludwig & Anna Barbara Döbele, was baptized in Baumerlenbach in November 1735.

Johann Ludwig Döbele, son of Ludwig Döbele from Erlenbach, married on 6 June 1758 in Langenbeutingen to Anna Barbara Hammel, daughter of Johann Georg & Maria Magdalena Hammel. She had been baptized in Orendelsall on 29 October 1732.

The baptisms of three children born to Johann Ludwig and Anna Barbara are recorded in the parish register of Langenbeutingen: (1) Johann Peter, baptized 20 October 1757; (2) Anna Margaretha, baptized 27 January 1759; and (3) Johann Michael, baptized 6 April 1760.

Ludwig Debele, a farmer, his wife Anna Barbara, and children (Anna Margaretha, age 4½; Johann Michel, age 3½) immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein), arriving in Flensburg on 12 June 1762.

The baptisms of two additional children were recorded in Danish records: (1) Johann Peter, baptized 3 March 1763 in Hurup, Denmark; and (2) Johann Peter, baptized 6 June 1764 in St. Michael's Church in Schleswig, Denmark.

They deserted the Danish colonies in July 1764 and joined the migration to Russia.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Balzer on 28 August 1765. Ludwig Tehle [sic], his wife Anna Barbara, and children (Johann Michael, age 7½; Eva Katharina Barbara, age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Balzer in Household No. 14.

In 1798, Johann Georg Debel moved from Balzer to Anton.

Johann Georg Debel from Grimm is recorded on the 1798 census of Anton in Household No. An09.

Both the Eichhorns and the 1767 census record that Ludwig Tehele came from the German region of Höhenlohe.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
