Deibert (Bangert)
Friedrich Deibert, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Der Junge Mattias under the command of Skipper Johann Gottfried Selander.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Bangert on 1 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 20.
Georg Heinrich Deibert is recorded on the 1811 census of Bangert in Household No. 20 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Schäfer in 1802.
Heinrich Kaspar Deibert is recorded on the 1811 census of Bangert in Household No. 20 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Straub in 1798.
[Heinrich] Kaspar Deibert from Bangert and his sons (Georg Heinrich, age 8; Georg Michael, age 1½) are recorded on the 1811 census of Straub in Household No. 63 along with a note that he had arrived in Straub from Bangert in 1803.
Johann Gottfried Deibert from Bangert and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Dinkel in Household No. 5.
The 1767 census records that Friedrich Deibert came from the German village of Bernhausen in the region of Württemberg.
