Discussion & Documentation

Andreas Döring, a farmer, his wife Barbara, and son Johann Heinrich (age 6) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 50.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

The 1767 census records that Andreas Döring came from the German village of Igersheim.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Döring family among the Volga German colonies.
