Drehser
Adam [sic] Dregesser [sic], a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Konrad Drehser [published as Esrenhäuser by Igor Plehve], a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and daughter Anna Maria (age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kamenka in Household No. 90. They had arrived in Kamenka on 20 June 1767.
Konrad Dregesser [sic], his wife Elisabeth, and children (Anna Maria, age 9; Dorothea, age 7; Barbara, age 5; Johannes, age 1½) are recorded on the 1775 census of Kamenka Household No. 70.
Konrad Dregesser [sic] and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kamenka in Household No. Km012.
Johannes Dregesser, son of Konrad Dregesser, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Kamenka in Household No. 12.
Georg Dregesser, son of Konrad Dregesser, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Kamenka in Household No. 161.
Joseph Drescher from Kamenka and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Josefstal in Household No. 9.
Both the Oranienabum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Adam / Konrad Dregesser came from the German region of Hanau.
Today, descendants of this family use the surname of Drescher, Dreser, and Dresser.
