Eckhardt (Kraft)
Widow Anna Katharina Eckhardt and her son Johann Heinrich (age 19) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the hooker Die Jungfer Dietrika under the command of Skipper Christian Korsholm.
Johann Heinrich Eckhard is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 travelling with Nicolas & Elisabeth Schneider.
Son Johann Heinrich settled in the Volga German colony of Kraft on 18 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 61 along with his sister Elisabeth and her husband, Nikolaus Schneider.
The Oranienbaum passenger lis trecords that Anna Katharina Eckhardt came from the German region of Darmstadt.
