Tobias Jäger [sic] and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Grimm in Household No. Gm001 along with son Georg Friedrich (age 38) and grandson Johann Ernst (age 14).

Friedrich Joller [sic] (age 56 in 1816; died in 1826) and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Kaneau in Household No. 8 along with sons Johann Ernst (age 50) and Georg Friedrich (age 35). Johann Ernst's sons are recorded there as Friedrich (age 22), Georg (age 19), and Heinrich (age 9). Georg Friedrich's son is recorded in 1834 as Gottlieb (age 2).

Georg Ernst's sons are recorded on the 1857 census of Kaneau in Households No. 14 & 15 under the surname Ehler. Georg Friedrich Ehler's [sic] death in 1855 is recorded on the 1857 census of Kaneau in Household No. 15 along with his son Gottlieb.

Ernst Jäger [sic] (age 34) and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Grimm in Household No. Gm074.

The death of Ernst Ehler in 1826 is recorded on the 1834 census of Grimm in Household No. 79. The sons of Ernst Ehler on the 1834 census of Grimm match those of Ernst Jäger on the 1798 census of Grimm.

Georg Ludwig Ehler, son of Ernst Ehler, and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Grimm in Household No. 85. Gottfried and Johann Jakob Ehler, additional sons of Ernst Ehler, and their families are recorded on the 1857 census of Grimm in Household No. 186. Jakob Ehler, another son of Ernst Ehler, and his family are recorded on the 1857 census in Household No. 188.
