Discussion & Documentation:

Elias Ehrhardt, a joiner, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Valentin, age 10; Nikolaus, age 8; Eva, age 5; Konrad, age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Johann Elias Erchardt [sic], his wife Elisabeth, and children (Valentin, age 9; Johann Nicolaus, age 7, Margaretha, age 5; Johann Conrad, age 1) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Elias Ehrhardt came from the German region of Fulda.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Ehrhardt family among the Volga German colonies.
