Philipp Eifert, a weaver (Weber), and his wife Maria Franziska settled in the Volga German colony of Shcherbakovka on 15 June 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 28 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Grimm in 1768.
The 1767 census records that Philipp Eifert came from the German village of Sulzfeld.
