Discussion & Documentation

Widow Johanna Eifert and her sons (Kaspar, age 6¼; Konrad, age 2½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Franz Nikolaus Schröder.

Widow Johanna Eifert and her sons (Casper, age 6¼; Conrad, age 2½) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that the two boys died en route.

It is not known in which colony the Widow Johanna Eifert settled.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Eifert family among the Volga German colonies.
