Kaspar Hermann Erbes, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Dobrinka on 29 June 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 59.
The 1767 census records that Kaspar Hermann Erbes came from the German town of Lübeck.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Erbes family among the Volga German colonies.
