Johann Jakob Erdmann, a farmer, and his wife Anna Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Schwab on 8 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 10.
The 1767 census records that Johann Jakob Erdmann came from the German village of Teschow.
