Konrad Figell, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and children (Johann, age 13; Nikolaus, age 10; Gertrude, age 4; Elisabeth, age 1½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.
Conrad Figell, his wife Anna Catharina, and children (Johannes, age 13; Conrad, age 10¼; Gerdruta, age 4; Maria Elisabet, newborn) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that father Conrad and the newborn daughter died in route.
It is not known in which colony they settled.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Figell came from the German region of Darmstadt.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Figell family among the Volga German colonies.
