Widow Dorothea Fink and her son Johann Philipp Reichert arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 August 1766 aboard a snow-brig named Neptunus (Neptune) under the command of Skipper Johann Graap.
Dorothe. Fink and her son Johan [Reichert] are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
At some point, widow Fink married widower Christian Reuter (who was on the same ship) and they arrived in the Volga German colony of Kautz on 21 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 22 along with Dorothea's son Philipp Reichert [although Philipp's surname is not recorded on that document].
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Dorothea Fink came from the German region of Darmstadt.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Fink family among the Volga German colonies.
