Götz (Grimm-2)
Andreas Götz, a single man, arrived at the port of Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard and ship under the command of Skipper Gabriel Wild.
An Andreas Götz, a single man, is recorded on the 1767 census of Kutter in Household No. 1 along with the Christoph Brehning family and two other boys (Johann Georg Ruhl, age 6 & Johann Jost Kroll, age 18). The 1767 census does not record relationships among the Götz, Brehning, Ruhl, and Kroll families.
In 1768, Andreas Götz moved from Kutter to Grimm. They are recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 90 along with stepchildren (Johannes & Maria Elisabeth Braum and Jakob Lochmann).
The 1767 census records that Andreas Götz came from the German region of Würzburg.
