Johannes Gläser, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Dobrinka on 15 April 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 33.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Gläser came from the German village of Sten [?] in the Durlach region.

[This family was Roman Catholic, so may have moved to another colony.]
