Friedrich Häckster, a farmer, his wife Dorothea, sister Anna (age 14), and mother Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 May 1766 aboard a galliot named Adler (Eagle) under the command of the Skipper Paul Adolph Drath.

Christoph Häckster, a farmer, and his wife Dorothea settled in the Volga German colony of Dinkel on 27 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 33.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Friedrich Häckster came from the German region of Holstein. The 1767 census records that Christoph Heckster came from the German village of Klinstadt [?] in the Holstein region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Häckster family among the Volga German colonies.
