Jakob Hahn, a single farmer, is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 50.

It is not known in which colony he settled.

The 1767 census records that Jakob Hahn came from the German village of Wächtersbach.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Hahn family among the Volga German colonies.
