Widow Anna Hamann and her daughter Anna (age 10¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a ship named Die Zwei Gebrüder (The Two Brothers) under the command of Skipper Nicolaus Peter Pinck.
Widow Gertraut Hamann and her daughter Anna Maria (age 10¼) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
It is not known in which colony they settled.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Anna Hamann came from the German region of Darmstadt.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Hamann family among the Volga German colonies.
