Friedrich Heidt, a weaver (Weber), his wife Julianna, and sons (Wilhelm, age 8; Friedrich, age 3) are recorded on the 1767 census of Lauwe in Household No. 39. They had settled there on 5 September 1767.

Friedrich Heidt and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Lauwe in Households No. Lw06 & Lw07.

The death of Friedrich Heidt in 1819 is recorded on the 1834 census of Lauwe in Household No. 42.

The 1767 census records that Friedrich Heidt came from the German village of Ecklefstein [?].
