Daniel Heilmann [sic], his wife Elisabeth, and children (Tobias, age 16; Johann, age 5; Anna, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 26 August 1766 aboard a snow-brig named Die Jäger (The Hunter) under the command of Skipper Gabriel Will.
Daniel Heilmann [sic], his [new] wife Maria Katharina, and stepdaughter Anna [surname not recorded] (age, 1) settled in the Volga German colony of Leitsinger on 19 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 59 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Brabander in 1768. [The publication of the 1767 census by Igor Plehve records Daniel Heilmann [sic] as a guilder (Vergolder). The original records him as a "золотарь" which had two meanings depending on the context: waste collector or gold worker.]
Daniel Heimann is recorded on the 1798 census of Brabander in Household No. Bn11.
In 1798, Johannes Heimann moved from Brabander to Dehler.
Johannes Heimann and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Dehler in Household No. Dl35.

In 1788, widow Anna Elisabeth Heimann moved from Schaffhausen to Kind.
The 1767 census records that Daniel Heilmann came from the German region of Würzburg.
