Discussion & Documentation

Adam Hein and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Chasselois.

His surviving children are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 11 along with their stepfather Peter Köhler.

Following the destruction of Chasselois, the Hein family relocated to the colony of Louis.

In 1783, Michael Hein and his family moved from Louis to Graf.
