Herder (Beideck)
Jakob and Susanna Elisabeth Herder from the Kurpfalz immigrated with their three children (Eva Barbara, age 14; Nikolaus, age 10; and Elisabeth, age 7) to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) in 1760. They are last recorded in the Danish colonies on 7 January 1765. They joined the migration to Russia.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Beideck where they are recorded on the 1775 census in Household No. 26.
The Eichhorns record that Jakob Herder came from "Amte Lindenfels, Kurpfalz."
