Katharina [Margaretha] Herdt, widow of a farmer, and her sons (Johann[es], age 17½; [Johann] Heinrich, age 12) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Christina under the command of Skipper Jacob Stappenberg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kutter on 8 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 26.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Katharina Margaretha Herdt came from the German region of Isenburg.
