Hergert (Rohleder)
There are two Hergert families that settled in the Volga German colony of Rohleder on 14 June 1766. Their relationship to each other is not recorded, but they are probably father and son. Both of them are recorded on the 1767 census as coming from the German region of Aschaffenburg.
(1) Peter Hergert (age 42), a farmer, is recorded on the 1767 census of Rohleder in Household No. 3. In 1789, his son Heinrich Hergert and his family moved from Rohleder to Herzog.
(2) Franz Hergert (age 18), a farmer and his wife Susanna are recorded on the 1767 census of Rohleder in Household No. 39.
