Hermonie / Hermony
Michael Hermoni, a farmer, his wife Regina [sic], and sons (Anton, age 2; Franziscus, age ¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Grapp.
Michael Hermani, his wife Christina [sic], and son Franciscus (age ¾) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that the wife and son died en route.
Michael Hermonÿ, a farmer, and his new wife Elisabeth are recorded onthe 1767 census of Kautz in Household No. 20. They had settled in Kautz on 21 August 1767.
The 1767 census records that the Hermonÿ family came from the German village of Hüffelsheim in the Pfalz.
