Discussion & Documentation

Eleonora Him, a single woman, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 August 1766 aboard a snow-brig named Prinz Carl (Prince Carl) under the command of Skipper Christopher Losser.

Eleonora Him is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony she settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list does not record from which Colony  Eleonora Him came.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Him family among the Volga German colonies.
