Ludwig Horn from Kurpfalz in the district of Utzberg & Margaretha Franck, spinster from Hausen in the area of Darmstadt-Lichtenberg, were married on 24 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.
Ludwig Horn, his wife Anna Maria [sic], and children (Anna Katharina, age 17; Anna Margaretha, age 13; Johann Christoph, age 7½; Johann Philipp, age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the pink Cargo under the command of Lieutenant Moses Davydov.
Johannes Ludwig Horn, his wife Anna Margaretha; and children by his first wife (Anna Katharina, age 18; Anna Margaretha, age 14; Johann Christoph, age 9; Johann Philipp, age 6) are recorded on the 1767 census of Krasnoyar in Household No. 12. They had settled there on 20 July 1767.
In 1797, Johannes Horn moved from Krasnoyar to Schwed. The 1798 census of Hummel records that a Johannes Horn from Krasnoyar is living there (Hm11).
Heinrich Horn and his brother Adam Horn are recorded on the 1811 census of Krasnoyar in Household No. 15 along with a note that Adam Horn relocated to the colony of Rosenheim [year not recorded].
Christoph Horn and his family are recorded on the 1811 census of Krasnoyar in Household No. 50 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Schulz in 1810.
Christian [sic] Horn from Krasnoyar is recorded on the 1811 census of Schulz in Household No. 3 along with a note that he arrived in Schulz from Krasnoyar in 1810.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Ludwig Horn was a stonemason while the 1767 census records that he was a farmer.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Ludwig Horn came from the German village of Mannheim in the Kurpfalz region.
